The Guest House

Nestling in the cliffs near the foot of the historical 'Theatre Steps' in picturesque Bridgnorth, lies Stoneway House. Built in 1892 and originally used as waiting rooms for the lower Station to the cliff railway, the Stoneway House has also been a temperance dining room (don't worry we're licenced now!).

Amazingly, the cliff railway carriages actually pass beneath the house and diners can watch them travel up and down the cliff side as they enjoy a meal in our relaxed and informal dining room.

Stoneway House has recently undergone major refurbishment. With 5 guest rooms, Tracy aims to make you as comfortable and as welcome as possible!

Only yards away from the quayside and the beautiful River Severn, Stoneway House opens its arms and welcomes you to a warm and welcome stay in Bridgnorth.

All included in the price of your room:

  • Parking permits, if required, can be picked up on arrival, to allow parking at a nearby hotel.
  • High-speed wireless internet so you can stay in touch.
  • Packed lunches are available if required

And... most importantly, we will provide you with possibly the best all-you-can-eat full English breakfast in town! And it's complimentary!

And when you return in the evening, we can cook you a hearty home cooked supper, for the perfect end to your perfect day.
