Welcome to Stoneway Guesthouse, nestling in the cliffs, near the foot of the historic Stoneway steps in the heart of Bridgnorth.

It was built in 1892 and originally was used as the lower station to the Bridgnorth Cliff Railway, the only funicular inland railway in the country.

As one of Bridgnorths historic houses, the Guest House is ideal accommodation for those who visit Bridgnorth for it's historic value, not forgeting those fascinated by the Bridgnorth Cliff Railway. As you sit in the Dining Room you will get the best view in the town of the carriages as they ascend and descend between High Town and Low Town.

Although in a secluded location, ideal for a great night's sleep, a short walk up stoneway steps leads you to the bustling nightlife of Bridgnorth High Town.

Sitting just a stones throw away from the River Severn the Guest House welcomes fishermen and anglers, and for steam enthusiasts, we are a short walk from the Severn Valley Railway. Several golf courses are a short distance away; the closest is within walking distance.

Just a short drive from Telford and Wolverhampton the Guest House is also ideal for visiting business people.
